Why we exist
Two disciplines that were never meant to stand apart.
Pastoral counseling is ancient. David sought out the prophet Samuel, and the church has cared for souls in every century since. The work is older than psychology by millennia.
Clinical counseling is young, and it has given us a great deal: a century of careful study of how people suffer, and how they heal.
Somewhere the two were set against each other, and people were left to choose a side. Restoration Counseling Alliance exists to close that divide. Pastoral and clinical counselors work here side by side and support one another, each serving within their own specialty, so the care you receive is the care you actually need.

Pastoral Counseling
The care of souls, from a trained minister. Scripture and prayer in the room. For grief, marriage and family struggles, guilt and forgiveness, calling, doubt, and the ordinary weight of a hard season.

Clinical Counseling
Licensed mental-health counseling from clinicians who share your convictions. Same mission, within the standards of their licenses.
Pillar Three
Ministry & Education
Premarital counseling and wedding officiating, chaplaincy, courses, pastoral-care training, community teaching, and published resources.
Nobody here practices alone. Pastoral counselors serve under pastoral oversight. Clinical counselors serve under the standards of their licenses and under supervision.
What it costs
A fee that moves to meet you.
The standard fee is set based on your counselor's degree level. It slides with household income and household size through our sliding fee scale.
Asking will not slow your care down.
We are shaped by our beliefs. They never decide whom we serve.
Whoever you are, whatever you carry, if we offer the care you are seeking, it is yours. Every person who comes to us will be met with kindness, gentleness, patience, and compassion.
Every counselor brings a framework to the room. Ours is openly Christian. If you would prefer care that does not proceed from a Christian framework, tell us and we will gladly help you find another qualified provider.
