What it is
Professional mental-health counseling from clinicians who share your convictions. You will not have to explain why your faith matters, translate it into other language, or brace for the moment it gets treated as part of the problem.
That changes the work more than people expect. Prayer can be in the room. Scripture can be on the table. Your spiritual life is treated as real, and so is your depression.
Every clinician here is subject to the board that governs their license and carries the obligations that come with it. The work is Christian and it is licensed. Neither cancels the other.
How it differs from pastoral counseling
Both pillars sit with many of the same troubles. Anxiety, grief, a marriage under strain, a hard season that will not lift. The difference is not the list of problems. It is perspective, scope, and method.
Perspective
A clinician reads your life through clinical assessment: history, patterns, symptoms, and what the research says moves them. Held, here, inside a Christian understanding of the person rather than against it.
Scope
Clinical counseling can assess, diagnose, and treat mental-health conditions. Where the question is spiritual rather than clinical, that is pastoral work.
Method
Structured, evidence-based approaches with a treatment plan and goals you can measure. Prayer and Scripture are welcome in the room when you want them, and never a substitute for the clinical work.

- Out-of-network. A superbill is available on request to submit to your plan.

- Set by the counselor's degree level, the same as pastoral counseling. See fees.

Your church, not instead of it
Where you have a church, your clinician will ask about it and treat it as part of your support rather than something to work around. Where you want your pastor involved, we can coordinate with your written permission.
Where you do not have a church and would like one, ask, and we will help.
Whom we serve
People from every background and every walk of life. You do not need to be a Christian to be seen here, and no clinician will ask you to become one. If you want faith in the room, say so and it is there. If you would rather it stay out, that is honored too. Read our Statement of Services for what we offer and where our services have limits.
