Policy

Every doorway should be usable.

We intend our care, and every way in to it, to work for everyone.

We welcome people with disabilities in every service we offer. We provide reasonable accommodations and auxiliary aids at no charge. We work toward conformance of our website and digital materials with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Telehealth runs on a platform that supports captioning, and we accept calls placed through the California Relay Service. Dial 711.

Asking for an accommodation

For scheduling, communication, the format of documents, or taking part in any service, email the Office of the Executive Director at [email protected]. As far ahead as you can manage, though we will do our best either way.

Language

If you communicate best in a language other than English, tell us when you schedule. We will make reasonable arrangements for interpretation.

A family member or friend may help if you prefer that. We will not require you to supply your own interpreter. We will not rely on a child to interpret, except in an emergency.

If something is not accessible, or you were treated unfairly

Tell us. That goes for a barrier you ran into and for treatment you believe was unequal. The Office of the Executive Director receives and responds to every concern under our complaint procedure. The Executive Director reviews this statement every year.

This reflects our obligations and our convictions. The Americans with Disabilities Act. California's Unruh Civil Rights Act. And the belief that every person who comes to us bears the image of God.

How this website is built

We run automated accessibility tooling against every page on every change, at desktop, tablet, and phone widths. We work toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Automated testing does not catch everything. If something here does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
