Every dollar given here goes toward care for people who cannot pay the full fee.
We are a nonprofit religious corporation. Counseling fees do not cover the cost of the care we give away, and they were never meant to. Gifts close that gap.
Where it goes
- Reduced-fee counseling for households that need it
- Training the next generation of pastoral and clinical counselors
- Chaplaincy and teaching that carry no fee at all
We keep our overhead thin on purpose. Board service is voluntary and uncompensated.
Other ways to give
Some people would rather underwrite something specific: a course for a couple who could not otherwise take it, a block of sessions, or a scholarship for a counselor in training. Tell us what you have in mind.
We also welcome churches who want to make care available to their people without building a counseling ministry from scratch.
Tax status
RCA is a California nonprofit religious corporation. Our application for federal tax-exempt recognition is in process, and we will post the determination here when it is issued. Ask us before you give if the tax treatment of your gift matters to your planning.
